Wait… Is each mantra a repetition, or do all 6 words constitute 1 repetition? Because you said it takes 7 mins. Or did you say 70 mins? Cause it took me almost 18 mins to get thru half. Then I stopped bcause I was confused. Pls answer so I can know if im doing this correctly. Thanks in advance.
I have a question and would like some clarification on this interview with Dolan about the Mantra, he said that the yei is pronounced as I (letter I). But in the guided meditation and the webinars, Amish is pronouncing yei not I. As in Lakshmi yei (not Lakshmi I). What is the correct way to say it?
Thank you!
Amish talks about “Symbols” in the program but so far I have not found the “Symbols”.Could you please tell me where I can find them and what all the symbols mean as I would like to use them in my affirmations and meditations?
John P.
Let me get this right. If I decide to repeat the mantra 3 times a day for 30 days, twice a day for 8 and once a day for the last 2 days would I be correct, or should it be 108 times a day for 40 days?
i have question which may or may not have already been answered. Is it okay to do more than one mantra in the 40 day period specifically the unblocking of abundance and the abundance mantra at the same time or would that be confusing things? Should i just say the wealth and abundance mantra since i already know exactly what i want and how it’s going to be achieved?
Hello, you have not given an explanation for all the words in the Mantra.
Please tell me what Yei represent? what is its role?
I will not type what I am thinking because it does not serve the greater good.
Hi James, yes here is an explanation: Aum: pure force. Gum: Removal of obstacles. Shreem: sound of abundance. Maha: increase of energy. Lakshmi yei: purpose (lakshmi is calling on the ‘wealth’ energy and then purpose). Namaha: completion. Aum Gum Shreem Maha Lakshmi Yei Namaha.
Video is not playing to hear what the mantra is sounding like – and I too would like to be able to fast forward a video to a specific place as I do not have time to watch videos over and over from the beginning. Also, I would like to purchase the gold Sri Yantra and have been unable. Now after all this I do Bless this endeavor, and technology glitches can be a test to just stick with it – because this is exactly what I was looking for – Love and Blessings to All
Awesome video Dolan! Great break down of meaning to our Mantra. You have answered some of the questions I’ve had earlier in the course as well. Many Blessings!
Thank you for this video. I would love to see this offered as an downloadable MP3 to accompany meditation for those of us newbies who might be trying to correctly pronounce the syllables and count 108 repetitions at the same time. I can definitely see myself losing count at some point during those 7 minutes of repeating the mantra! Perhaps such an MP3 exists on the site – will have to look around a bit more and see.
A bit confused after watching this video and then finding another video on another page with the mantra and Sri Yantra. In this video, “about 7 minutes” is the length of time stated for repeating the mantra 108 times, but the video on another page is much longer, 50-something minutes, if I’m remembering correctly. I also noticed comments from other members indicating repeating the mantra before sunrise, and I’m still trying to find where this instruction is specifically located on the site. I’m finding the site a bit challenging to navigate in order to find all the information I’d like in one user-friendly location. I also would recommend having the mantra available in a 7-minute length in an MP3 audio vs. a video format. I could download it to my iPod and print out the Sri Yantra vs. having to sit in front of my device to look at it while reciting the mantra. Just a suggestion – I’m already in front of the computer long enough during the day! 🙂
Theresa I see your comment is from three weeks ago and I don’t know if you found a solution but Sri Yantra is very famous and the image is in many places. I am sure your could find the image to copy from the web. I have a small yoga paperback with it on the cover that I use. Easy to travel with.
Mahara, have you refreshed your browser and tried logging in and out? If not then please do email email support@deeporigins.com and they can guide you! Thanks so much!
Yang, thank you so much for reaching out about this. It is true that meditation, yoga, these philosophies are from India, where a religion, Hinduism, also incorporates it, as does Buddhism, however, it is more the philosophy than religion if that makes sense. Also, I am not sure if you have heard of The Self Realization Fellowship, it was started by Yogananda (the author of Autobiography of a Yogi) and it is quite remarkable how Yogananda saw exactly the conflict you are facing with many of the people who were drawn to learning meditation from him. So he taught meditation, then through the eyes of a yogi from India, and talked about Christ and how someone who is deep in meditation can find an even deeper relationship with Christianity. Through meditation, we are encouraged to still the minds and prepare to hear the voice of your true, inner self, or even God or Jesus Christ he said.
The wealth mantra is about putting out the intention, and the sound that happens to be in sanskrit for the ancient vibration. Plus so much of this is generally about just replacing unhealthy mental, emotional, and physical habits with healthy ones that bear prosperity so taking those points from the depth of the teaching can be fruitful for any on us, regardless of what ties to religion we have held in the past or currently.
I hope this helps as you continue your journey of self.
I noticed Dolan pronounced “yei” like “eye” whereas in another video Amish pronounced “yei” to rhyme with “yea” (like yea or nay when they rhyme). Which is the more correct version, and does it really make a huge difference if I have been using the wrong one? Thanks
For yei, you can pronounce it like Amish. And the same as for gum, and watch the sanskrit explanation so it is more clear. I wouldn’t get so caught up if you cannot vocally produce these tones, it is more about the intention and repetition. This is the video that is wonderful in describing the proper sanskrit sounds, the 9th topic he covers is the pronunciation of gum. https://youtu.be/cMhe2QgDm28

Prosperity Formula / “Wealth Switch”
AUM – Pure Force
GUM – Removal of Obstacles
SHREEM – Sound of Abundance
MAHA – Increase of Energy
LAKSHMI YEI – Purpose
NAMAHA – Completion
So the six words are to be chanted all together in one phrase 108 times? Just want to make sure I am innerstanding correctly. Is there an audio recording of the six words being chanted so we know what it sounds like? So we know how long to hold a sound before going to the next sound? I thought the video might demonstrate this as well.
Yes they are chanted together in one phrase and that phrase is repeated 108 times. In video 4, at 6:12 I say the mantra a a whole to hear how to say it.
enjoying this segment. Is there a specific time to do the mantra? most meditation is done at 4am in the morning? any benefit?
Also does becoming a vegetarian improve the energies as traditionally taught to us?
You can definitely continue on to another mantra after. It will not be diluted but remember to focus on your intention during your Laxmi Mantra. It is important to really focus to harness this energy.
Thank you for your explanation Puja. I have a better understanding of the significance of the 40 day protocol, the 108 repetition Mantra and the 6 power words.
Simply Superb!!
The great thing is i have already a chain with 108 perls for praying. I took it out and will use it again.
Awesome!! I’m loving this!!
Wonderful! Thank you. I will order perls/beans for meditation.
Great!
I have my rudraksha beads and im starting this today, 3xs a day for 40 days; and will do it at least once a day for life. When the student is ready…

You would repeat each mantra, so all the words together are 1 mantra and 1 repetition each.

Amish is saying it the way I say it as well and believe is correct. Of course different accents can sound different!
why is there not examples of these meditations?
This is an explanation and doing them yourself will be really internal and beneficial!
Amish talks about “Symbols” in the program but so far I have not found the “Symbols”.Could you please tell me where I can find them and what all the symbols mean as I would like to use them in my affirmations and meditations?

where can I get the beads?
Amazon sells them but if you live in a big city as i do (NYC) then their should be a Buddhist store that sells mala beads.
Let me get this right. If I decide to repeat the mantra 3 times a day for 30 days, twice a day for 8 and once a day for the last 2 days would I be correct, or should it be 108 times a day for 40 days?
108 times for 40 days:)
thankyou

You can do more than one but if this is your first time, I would stay focused!
thank you so much, your response is greatly appreciated

Very helpful. Thank you. I’ll listen again.
Thank you!
Well ready to put it into working order and make things “shift” for the better in my life and everyone that I come into contact with…..

I bought some rosary beads in Italy (because they were pretty) and they have 54 beads. So I’ll go around twice.

Is there somewhere to get all these video’s as PDF’s? They are kind of repetitive and take a long time to go through.
If you do the mantra more than once does it have to be done during that first morning session?
excellent
Very well explained. Thank you so much .
Am not able tie access the video. The lower 1/2 of the picture is not showing up.

Awuuuuuuuuummmmmmsome!!!!!
Just joined and another video with problems…doesn’t aide in my positive energy, very frustrating.

I’ve chanted all these words before, but never together!!!
Hi
Can this Mantra be recited in conjunction with other Mantra’s and Hanuman Chalisa. For example Reciting Om Namah Shivaya afterwards?
Will this dilute the vibrations from the Laxmi Mantra ?
You can definitely continue on to another mantra after. It will not be diluted but remember to focus on your intention during your Laxmi Mantra. It is important to really focus to harness this energy.
Also
It seems like we have many Hindu / Eastern Scriptures in this Epoch compacted in 40 verses e.g Hanuman Chalisa.
Does to correlate to the significance of 40 and 108 repetitions ?
Yes there is that ancient relevance to these numbers, not only spiritual but scientific!
Thank you for your explanation Puja. I have a better understanding of the significance of the 40 day protocol, the 108 repetition Mantra and the 6 power words.
You welcome:) Namaste
This is awesome, just love mantra session, am yet to get my beads though.
Thanks for the opportunity to develop from within.
