ParticipantI just want to confirm that there is nothing negative associated with awakening your kundalini.
I may likely be misinformed but In the past I have come across resources that have said it is very powerful and should not be awakened unless you are spiritually ready. I startle/scare easily, I get sleep paralysis from time to time and have since usually sleep with a lamp or light on. I do not want to see weird looking creatures/entities, I do not want them to follow me around. I will not be able to sleep – I am just not ready for that right now…
I really like the course so far, it is some of the most transformative and inspiring material I have ever come across – and I have tried and failed with a lot of self help material. I love the way I feel during/after meditation, I love the peace of mind. I know another dimension exists beyond what is visible, is it necessary to tap into that to develop the ‘superhuman’ powers that we all desire…

ParticipantI had the same concern! Somebody told me a story about a guy who meditated to the point where he could easily travel outside of his body. One day he came back to his physical body and found two dark figures doing something over it. I was told that bad spirits teach you how to get get out of your body so that they could steal your soul and you basically cannot return, and your body dies. And then somebody told me that there is no hell or devil, all of that is just big concentration of negative energy that finds you only because you let it to, by thinking about it. And then I read something about parallel worlds and how time is an illusion and dudes in other worlds just live their lives, they just look different and humans are naturally programmed to be frightened of unknown (I am pretty confused with the creatures thing myself. On other hand, having an avatar is as weird 🙂 ). …and then I joined Project Yourself and discovered that if I am “in tune” and I let myself to get outraged by something the bumerang starts spinning and comes back and hits me right in a head in no time (the quickest took 10 minutes). That’s why if I am in a negative place or frustrated and don’t have enough time to relax and clear my head before meditation I do not do any of the “power” exercises, I just work on clearing my mind and relaxing and go to work or do whatever i have to do. So yes, you do have to be spiritually prepared. I feel like lever 1 gives you a good start. If you feel like you are not ready, or if you cannot free your mind of weird negative creatures, do not do Kundalini yet. Prepare yourself and do it when you feel it is right time for you. I feek that it is very important to free the space in your mind from any negative feelings towards and about yourself and the world around you for exercises like that
